Most JYE LABS tools work entirely in your browser without uploading your files. These short walkthroughs show which tool to use for common tasks and in what order. Every tool page also has detailed steps and FAQs.

01Sign a PDF, then redact it before sharing

When a lease or job offer arrives as a PDF, you do not need to print, sign and scan it. With Sign PDF you draw your signature with a finger or mouse, or upload a photo of a signature on white paper, and drag it onto the signature line. The white background is removed so it sits naturally on the page.

Before sending a copy to others you may need to hide a Social Security number, account number or phone number. A black box on top leaves the text underneath, so Redact PDF flattens masked pages into images and removes the covered text for real.

  1. Sign and place your signature, then save
  2. Auto-find SSNs, phone numbers and emails in Redact PDF
  3. Open the saved files and check them yourself

02Track your hours and overtime

Hourly workers often want to double-check a paycheck. The time card calculator adds up clock-in and clock-out times, subtracts unpaid breaks and shows weekly overtime over 40 hours. The overtime calculator applies time and a half under the federal rule, with an option for California daily overtime.

These are estimates based on published rules; actual pay depends on your state, employer and job classification, so confirm with your state labor office when it matters.

  1. Enter each day’s times and breaks
  2. Check total, regular and overtime hours
  3. Compare with your pay stub

03Resize and crop photos for print and social media

Prints need exact sizes in inches at the right resolution, while social platforms need specific aspect ratios. Resize image in inches turns photos into 4×6, 5×7 or 8×10 prints at 300 DPI, and the 2×2 passport photo tool crops to the US passport size and lays copies out on a 4×6 sheet.

For Instagram, Shorts or YouTube thumbnails, crop to aspect ratio crops many photos to 4:5, 9:16 or 16:9 at once, and circle crop makes round profile pictures with a transparent background.

  1. Choose the print size or ratio
  2. Drag the crop to frame the subject
  3. Download at full quality and preview

04Check your laptop before a video call

Nothing derails a call like “we can’t hear you”. The mic test shows a live level meter and lets you record five seconds to hear yourself, and the webcam test shows the real resolution and frame rate of your camera.

If one earbud is silent, the speaker test plays left and right separately; if a key misbehaves, the keyboard tester shows every press. When a camera or mic will not start, close apps like Zoom or Teams that may be holding it.

  1. Close other video apps
  2. Allow access and test the mic and camera
  3. Check speakers and keyboard in the same visit

05Make printable classroom and party materials

Teachers and organizers can make printable PDFs straight from the browser. The bingo card generator makes number or word cards that are each shuffled differently, the random seating chart arranges a class or tables, and the name tag maker turns a list of names into badges or tent cards.

For practice sheets there are the math worksheet generator with answer keys, a word search maker and a maze generator. Every click makes a new version, so each class can get a different sheet.

  1. Paste names or words one per line
  2. Preview the layout
  3. Pick Letter or A4 and print at 100%

06Where are my files processed?

Most JYE LABS tools never upload your files. PDFs, images and text are processed inside the browser tab you opened, so large files do not need to travel over the internet and results are not stored elsewhere. Ordinary web requests still load the page, its code, fonts and ads.

Keep your originals, and open each result before you submit it anywhere. Our terms page explains what the tools do and do not promise.

  1. Keep the original file
  2. Open and check the result
  3. Clear downloads on shared computers
