How to use
- 1
Upload a clear portrait photo.
- 2
Choose the size and resolution, then drag to centre the face on the guide lines. Use the slider to set the face size.
- 3
Click "Save photo" to download the ID photo and a 4×6 print sheet.
When to use it
Print a 2x2 passport photo at home or a drugstore
Choose "US visa/passport (2x2 in)" and save the 4x6 sheet; it holds several 2x2 copies ready for a 4x6 print at CVS, Walgreens or Walmart.
An online form wants 600x600 pixels
Pick "Exact pixels", enter 600 × 600 (or the size the form asks for) and an optional KB limit.
Center the head the way the rules expect
Drag the photo so the dashed lines mark the top of the head and the center of the face. US rules ask for a head height of 1 to 1 3/8 inches; check travel.state.gov before you print.
Good to know
- Online forms often limit pixels and file size; use "Exact pixels" with "Max file size".
- Print the 4×6 sheet at a photo kiosk to get several copies at once.
- Official rules (background, expression) still apply; check your passport office.
